MAJOR CAREER ACHIEVEMENTS

Restructuring and post merger integration to enhance value.

Restructured seven acquired companies at Lapker Zrt. (owned by Hachette Distribution) and decreased operating costs (approx. €4m) by 35% through the reduction by 1000 employees and through newly restructured HR processes.

Managed the people related aspects of the post merger integration and the achievement of targeted cost synergies through six separate transactions at Invitel with transaction values of up to €700m (Euroweb, Tele2, HTCC, Pantel, Memorex, Fibernet).

Major Cultural Change Programs

Changed corporate culture from a bureaucratic, hierarchical management style to proactive, customer oriented behavior through establishing new corporate culture across 3000 employees. Lapker bought the operation from the Hungarian Post. I was appointed the Head of Change Program through which I implemented new approaches in people management. In 3 years employee engagement grew by 28%. Management behavior changed to be, more proactive, people oriented, and less hierarchical.

Established modern leadership style and competencies.

Transformation of HR Function into a proactive business development partner

As an executive team member played an active role to create leadership culture in the company and develop leadership skills of junior executives, designed and held training for the top 50 managers within the company.

Set up a highly efficient team in HR, and trained HR people to have a clear –internal-customer oriented mindset. My HR team developed to understand the business at least as well as each business unit manager. Through the establishment of HR Business Partners we ensured that the whole organization became aligned with the corporate strategy.

Start up Coaching Business

Established a start up company in Leadership and Coaching. Currently she has different international clients both in Coaching and Leadership Development.

Recruited trainers and coaches and created a pool of private professionals that can work in alliance in consulting projects.

Civic Award

Chevalier des Palmes Académiques, for establishing the Association des Anciens Boursieres du Governement Francais in Hungary. French Government Award for strengthening the cultural and economic ties between the Governments of Hungary and France.

Telecommunications Company in Hungary with up to 1350 employees and revenues of €350m. 2002-2003 owned by Vivendi, 2003-2007 joint private equity ownership (AIG/Mid Europa and GMT Communications Partners), 2007-2009 Public listing on NYSE, 2010-present private equity owned (Mid Europa Partners)

Reorganized the HR function to become a service oriented, true value add partner to the business.

Designed and implemented org dev and leadership programs playing a personal role as internal coach to senior staff and as consultant to the CEO.

Designed and ran different training sessions and coaching for the top 50 within the company as an internal coach/trainer, thereby eliminating need for expensive external consultants

Managed six major acquisitions (Euroweb, Tele2, HTCC, Pantel, Memorex, Fibernet), achieving targeted cost saving synergies as well as harmonization of  policies and HR practices, for example alignment of remuneration, appraisal and incentive systems, and recruitment policy, unification of collective agreements, insource and standardization of  payroll activity.

Set up internal communication department and establish a proactive channel for the employees and I built communities within the company through different platforms such as employee breakfast, recognition programs, orientation day, sports club/sports day, Invitel Pub, senior management team club, interactive intranet.

Managed and controlled the total personnel related costs within the company (€ 32 million) covering 1350 FTEs
